"The system is great! Delivered promptly, packaged well, neat and orderly. Directions were easy to follow. However, I would recommend the next edition of the directions to advise using the Teflon tape on every threaded connection. A little prevention goes a long way when dealing with water. Secondly, at least 3 of the factory tubing connections were not seated. Consequently, when I turned on the water, I had leaks spraying everywhere. I’d advise new purchasers to check all connections for seating before turning the water on."

My husband and under the sink were soaking wet before we retightened all the loose connections. You may have a problem with your quality control. We move often with the military so we usually give away the system to a neighbor when we move, that is why we are repeat customers."

Excellent Product

"The kit came well packed, the box got banged up a bit in transit but the great packaging protected everything very well. Instructions were very clear. I modified things a bit, as I wanted a switched UV filter in addition to the 90 GPD system with the remineralization. I don't believe that option was available. I installed my kit in the basement, and mounted everything to board on the basement wall below the kitchen fridge, which where the existing fridge waterline hookup comes down to the supply pipe. We get our filtered water exclusively from the fridge, so I didn't install the provided faucet that I received with the kit. I will say that I wanted more flow than I initially experienced after install, so I brought a 1/2" copper pipe and quarter turn stop right to the board where the R/O unit is installed. This has helped a lot, but I'm a nerd, so I'll convert more of the system to 3/8 tubing, one part at a time, until I'm satisfied. If this were installed under the kitchen sink as intended, I'm sure it would have worked just fine. This is a very high quality kit, and the phone support was very good. I highly recommend APEC Water."
