"Too expensive for such a simple little part. The other problem is my order got lost and I had to call in to track it down which is another problem Apec has. . picking up the phone. Hold times are always bad."
No issues - Lighter than the long one
"No issues were noted with this new shorter version of the old filter housing. The wet filters are much easier to handle that the old long filters. I think my wife (67) would have no difficulty changing this filer. I’m 76 and found it much easier than the old long filters when wet. I was disappointed to discover that the shorter filter housing will not screw into the old log filter mount. That resulted in the hassle of also changing out the top portion of the old long filter housing and then dealing with the leaks that always see to plague these threaded connections with plastic threads. That could be handled a lot better than it turned out to be."
