"I bought this to raise the pH of my RO water. With no remineralization my RO water is at a pH of about 6. 3 - 6. 4. With this calcium remineralization filter my pH is at 7. 4. I borrowed a Myron L 6P handheld meter from work to measure the pH's. I calibrated the meter before taking it home, so I'm pretty confident in these values. This is just what I needed for my system."
