Other re-mineralization filter will claim to add various beneficial minerals back into the water; however, their mineral formulations are often from unknown sources.

It Passed Our Taste Test

"We use our RO system to provide drinking water via a faucet AND water to our True Ice Maker. During installation of this CaCO3 re-mineralizing filter, I connected it to the faucet but NOT the ice maker. The ice maker would remove the minerals due to the process by which it produces ice. I then did a double-blind taste test (yep, I’m a pharmacist/chemist) using this new filter vs our reverse osmosis water. The RO water tested at 0ppm and the CaCO3 water tested 20ppm. All family taste testers picked the CaCO3 water over the RO water. Now when we add ice to the glass of water, the ppm drops but everyone to date, prefers the CaCO3 re-mineralized water over plain RO water."
