1st Stage: High-Grade 5 micron 10 Inch high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter -removes dust, particles, and rust. 100% pure polypropylene depth filter with exceptional dirt-holding capacity translates to longer life and fewer change-outs than existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.
2nd and 3rd Stage: Premium Extruded Carbon Block 10 Inch -gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes VOCs and other common chemicals from the water. APEC's extruded carbon block filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, these extruded carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.

"Thanks for the combo pac of filters for the RO90 system so we can keep our system up and running. We use gallons of RO water each day for cooking, drinking, coffee maker, ice maker, etc. I have studied ground and surface water quality in all regions of the USA for a living, and have concluded everyone everywhere should be using RO or ultra-filtered water, even if it means you add some minerals afterward for flavor. (Not necessary. ) Rural well systems should probably also have biological treatment as well; city water supply systems treat their potable water with some form of chlorine. The biproducts chlorination should be treated at home with a system like the RO90, which has charcoal and RO filters."

Great products, but complicated process
"All the products are great and I am going to order more in the future. I believe in the “American Dream” and I am willing to pay good money for a good product. I believe, APEC products are made in America and of excellent quality, which is not necessarily guaranteed if I buy from other vendors. However, the process is somewhat complicated. I also received emails for almost each and every single item, not just for the entire shipment. I still keep getting emails to write reviews. This is not good! You don’t want to get swamped with emails after buying something."
