This was simply a replacement
"This was simply a replacement canister as the old one developed a leak in the bottom. But replacement went well. Al three are back in service."

Highest Pressure and Chemical Tolerance CapacityThese premium 20 Inch whole house filter housings offer the versatility to meet all of your large capacity filtration needs, including high-flow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra large housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. Constructed of durable reinforced polypropylene, these heavy-duty housings can withstand a broad range of chemicals in the water. They can also withstand a wide range of variations in water pressure and they accept a variety of 4-1/2" diameter x 20 Inch length cartridges for different applications. The high-flow polypropylene (HFPP) cap offers 3/4", 1" or 1-1/2" FPT inlet and outlet ports for versatility. Note: These inline water filters are usually placed in the main water line entering the home. While installation is fairly simple, it is our recommendation to have it installed by a licensed plumber. |

"Problem- the manifold was missing the excess air purge and threaded port for an air pressure gage. This item was not used upon re-assembly."
"Great Product, Excellent Customer Service!"
"I phoned after our Water House Filter housing ruptured - many many many gallons gone. But the replacement came quickly and was exactly what we needed. Grateful for the service!"
"Replacement for existing housing that leaked, so far so good"
"The whole house water system was great for about 5 years. That’s when my cylinder cracked. I ordered another and got it fixed. Then in a month and one day another cylinder cracked. After that I just be got off the cylinder. I couldn’t afford to buy cylinders and filters."
"The only thing I dislike is the low pressure rating for this unit. My home supply pressure is 100 psi from the city. I use a pressure reducing valve (Watts) to reduce the pressure down to 60 psi at the water filter unit. Recently my pressure reducing valve failed, which allowed the water pressure at the filtering system to reach close to the city pressure. It ended up blowing the bottom out of your blue housing. Fortunately I was home when this happened and had the PRV replaced along with your blue housing unit. If your unit had a higher presure capability this would not have occurred."
"What ever, works fine"
