CB3-SED-KDF-CAB20-BB comes with three 20” x 4.5” specialty filters to effectively remove Chlorine, Lead, Iron, Dirt, Sand, Silt, Rust, Odors, VOCs, Hydrogen Sulfide and deliver clean, filtered water throughout your whole house. The heavy-duty 20” x 4.5” industry standard BB housings are constructed of durable reinforced polypropylene which can withstand a wide range of chemicals in the water as well as large fluctuations in water pressure. The polypropylene (HFPP) cap has 1” FPT inlet and outlet ports for fast-flow rates and are pre-attached to a mounting bracket for easy setup and installation.

The good - the system

"The good - the system was easy to install and works great. Give me peace of mind knowing that the water is safe and tastes good. The bad - after I ordered this it did not actually ship for nearly a month. I emailed after 2 weeks to find out why it hadn't shipped. It wasn't in stock when I ordered it. 2 weeks of waiting and it still wasn't in stock. There was no information on the site that it was out of stock. I would have ordered a different system from them that was available. It finally shipped 2 weeks after I called. I like this company and this is my second system and will use them again. I hope this was a glitch in the system"

Exactly what I wanted.

"I installed this along with the Whole House Big DUO Housing Set with the 2 BB filters. I used the 2 as a 2-stage sediment pre-filter then it goes straight into this. We are on well water and have some issues with iron sediment small amounts of lead and hydrogen sulfide. I specifically wanted the KDF-85 filter and it seems to be doing quite well. The nice thing about the BB setup (5 stages in my case) is I can try different filter combinations if needed but not have to change out the housing. I should also mention that pressure drop across my 5 stages is not noticeable at any fixture and our pressure tank puts out about 54 psi. No noticeable difference in flow rate either. I am happy with this purchase and would do it again. We also have the RO-PH90 that further filters our drinking water."
