"This system has been awesome! To have a complete system and fresh clean water without having to go to the store and fill up bottles is amazing! The only complaint I have is the UV light makes the water that comes out Hot even though I tied the source of the system into the cold water. But other than that it twists great and was a great deal!"
"Filter was delivered in good package and include all parts and instaructions. Installation was also relatevely easy part and system works perfectly fine. Problem started when filter was used after 1 hour. Water came out very hot and cannot be drinkable. After 15-20 seconds water temerature was normal (same as inlet). Problem is UV light is always on which heats up water inside the filter and you have to drain it for 15-20 second before use 1. Huge wast of water 2. Electricity use for light 3. Cost of replacement UV light because of high usage APEC admited the problem with design but offered solution to fix it for additional cost. System is already expensive and I see no reason to pay even more to solve APEC problems. Returning this filter."
"Upon install had a small dribble. Mfg sent a replacement fitting free once I called them. Still leaked though, I discovered it was a 1/4" hose with a burr on it. Note, this wasn't a hose I had installed, was a factory installed one. But could happen to anyone. Check your hose OD for any gouges or scrape marks if you have a leak"

"Let me start by saying these filters are great. The water is awesome and great tasting. I purchased a testing meter from that A company and the improvements shown were well worth the price of the system. I did add extra 1/4 ball valves at the front and back of the system so I could isolate it for maintenance.All that said I'n downgrading this review based simply on the STUPID placement of the serial number sticker. Why in the world would you put something that I need to reference on the back side of the bracket where it is mounted to the wall??? To see the serial number would require me to take the whole unit apart disconnect the water lines remove all the components and unmount it from the wall all to see the sticker with the serial number that could be put anywhere on the unit. There is a very nice front-facing flange where it would make sense to put it. It could be on the underside less visible but I could get it with my phone. Nope - you decided to put it in the absolute worst place you could think of.So when I called yesterday to talk to a very nice very helpful man on your customer service line he told me that because of where the SN sticker is located I would have to take apart the UV light assembly to see what kind of plug it has to determine if I had a V1 or V2 system and to get the correct bulb replacement. I made a mistake and unscrewed the black cover over the bulb causing a water leak from the UV light holder in my basement. All could have been prevented by putting the SN on the front. Or even add a simple V2 decal on the front so all questions are answered simply and directly. I took a Sharpie and now my bracket has a big red V2 on the front. All of this could have been avoided by a more logical serial number placement on the front. You guys are engineers (so am I) this is just poor design and engineering.Botton line - buy this filter. its great. and write the serial number on the front where the sticker should have been placed."
