Loved it for the first couple of years, but then. .
"Works well. . . have had for 5 years with 3 full filter replacements. However. . . . . . . I went to repair some unrelated sink hardware above where the quick90 was installed. I had to slightly moove the unit (with hoses attached) slightly to the side. When I did so, several of the filters began to leak profusely where the hoses are pushed in. The hoses were installed correctly and had the correct small plastic clip installed that keeps the hose from falling out. This leaking never occured before - ever. I cut off the hose ends, and reinserted. . . . same thing. I was not happy to find that this slight movement would cause such a mess. It's not clear what the cause is: Did the hoses become brittle with age? Were the insert points on the filters defective? Anyway, it appears they were slightly leaking, as the entire bottom of the tank rusted badly. This also was unexpected. All in all, the unit works great, and you may even replace the filters a couple of times, but beyond that, it just falls apart."

Not impressed with the Quick-90
"I have a permeate pump system at my other house and I love it. When I decided to install a system at my new home I immediately went to APEC but this time around both the product and service have been fair at best. The Quick-90 came with a leaky joint. I simply removed and cut the tubing and re-inserted and the leak was taken care of. About 2 months into service however the unit stopped completely. Troubleshooting revealed a clogged pre-filter and the tech is apparently sending a new one. My issue is that I don't care to be replacing filters every 2 months. My system is connected to municipal water.Tech support is hard to reach and mostly done via email which has long delays. Reaching someone outside of the support team is next to impossible. I have asked repeatedly is I can exchange the system for one of the units having 3 larger pre-filters and have had no reply to that question. Overall I have a 2 month old system and I'm using a countertop filter pitcher and feel I have no long term resolution or good communication from APEC."
