My wife loves her RO water for her coffee

"I got this backup housing cases I couldn't get the new washers to work with the old. I was lucky and the new seals worked and i have this as a standby in case I need it."

Excellent!

"I've been a customer of APEC's for years and they sell quality products. I purchased this membrane housing as a spare because. . . you never know. I also purchased a few sets of 0-rings to keep my filter operating smoothly with no leaks under the sink. Anyway, great products and great customer service."

This wasn’t the part we

"This wasn’t the part we needed. Called customer service repeatedly since AMA no one will fix the problem. The membrane is bad and needs replaced by the company. Customer service has been very poor"

Great spare housing for the ROES-PH75 System

"The membrane housing is one of 4 permanent filter housings in the ROES-PH75 System. For that reason I decided to buy a spare membrane housing so that I could store it with a spare RO membrane. Since this is our source of drinking water it is always a good idea to keep spare filters tubing fittings and housings around. The original housing cap was difficult to open until I soaked the cap in hot water. Then I was able to use the housing wrench to apply sufficient torque to the cap to break the O-ring seal. Had there been sufficient O-ring grease applied to the O-rings in the cap and on the housing this task would have been easier. The cap should be hand tightened not wrench tightened. If the cap leaks after hand tightening it means that 1) an O-ring is bad 2) the O-ring is deformed 3) insufficient O-ring grease has been applied or 4) the housing or cap has been damaged. When I opened the original O-ring housing I found that O-ring in the cap had been scored. This happens when insufficient O-ring grease is applied to the O-ring surface when the cap is rotated against it. Keep spare O-rings around apply sufficient O-ring grease and hand tighten all filter housings."

Exact match for my 5 year old system

"Bought this a month ago after I potentially damaged the original membrane housing in my 5 year old system. I could not open the old one to finally change the membrane and had to take a channel lock pliers to it for leverage. I was concerned the marks it left could leave a weak spot on the housing that could leak or burst one day so I got this new one. System is up with all new membranes and testing around 24 ppm TDS. Something makes a buzzing sound when I draw RO water that was not there before but I can live with that."

Great water filteration and well fitting component

"We have had the APEC water fileteration system for 4 years now and the membrane housing for the RO filter needed a replacement because I could not open the existing one. This is our 2nd filter and polisher replacement and we love the water taste and quality coming from the system."

Membrane Housing.

"After breaking the original I ordered a new one. Worked fine until the other parts broke. I bought a new Roes 50."
