Carbon filter is rated to 25 microns and is able to treat over 100,000 gallons of water at a very fast flow rate. Quality Made and Easy To Install
"I purchased this filter to save my hot water heater from collecting sediment and debris which shortens the life of the heater. Installation was easy enough using Sharkbite connectors and shut-off valves. I'm not a plumber but it's up and running with no leaks. (knock on wood)"

"Purchase this to help the life of my water softener. Install easy. The only issue I have is the mounting of the gasket. Doesn't lay well in the groove of the filter housing. Need to be very careful when installing the filter into the cap. You don't want the gasket to pinch when screwing it into the cap/mount. Buy another gasket just in case!"
