APEC ULTIMATE Complete 6-Stage High Capacity Filter Set
APEC Ultimate high flow 6-stage complete filter set is made in USA with the highest quality filtration components to provide a longer lasting filter set to protect and prolong the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. Premium quality pre-filter cartridges lasts over 12 months while the membrane and post carbon filter last 3-5 years for fewer filter change outs and high performance contaminant removal. These standard size filters are compatible with APEC RO-PH90.
All US Made Super High Capacity Filters
1st Stage: High-Grade 5 micron 10 Inch high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter -removes dust, particles, and rust. 100% pure polypropylene depth filter with exceptional dirt-holding capacity translates to longer life and fewer change-outs than existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters. Recommend changing every 1 year.
2nd and 3rd Stage: Premium Extruded Carbon Block 10 Inch -gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes VOCs and other common chemicals from the water. APEC's extruded carbon block filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, these extruded carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core. Recommend changing every 1 year.
4th Stage: Select FILMTEC (Dow Chemical) High Rejection TFC reverse osmosis membrane. Removes up to 99% of total dissolved solids (TDS) and contaminants such as arsenic, lead, fluoride, chromium, radium, bacteria, viruses and much more. Recommend changing every 3-5 years.
5th Stage: Advanced Coconut Shell Refining Carbon 10 Inch - TCR (Total Contamination Removal) filter removes any possible residual taste from the tank. Recommend changing every 3-5 years.
6th Stage: 10 Inch High Purity pHPlus Calcium Carbonate Re-mineralization Inline Filters w/ Quick Connect-increases pH level of the water by adding calcium carbonate mineral back into the water. Recommend changing every 6-12 months.

"During a remodel several years ago, I had the plumber add the additional 1/4 water line and valve. Drill the granite counter top and drill the drain line for the RO waste water. Once it was in it works great. With filters parts do where out and if you're DIY'er it should no trouble to update the filters. I did overlook these rings the second time i changed the RO filter and took some time to find the right stuff. Eventually found everything I needed and finished it up leak free."

Love the Filters, Hate the Shipping Delays
"I love my APEC RO system — it works great and I trust the water quality. That’s why I ordered the replacement filter set. Unfortunately, the shipping and order processing experience has been very disappointing. I placed my order on August 30, but it wasn’t even processed until September 3. The package was handed to DHL on September 5, and as of September 9, it’s still sitting there with no delivery date in sight. When I called APEC customer service, I was told they have a high volume of orders causing delays. While I understand the demand, I think APEC needs to reconsider their shipping partner (DHL) and also improve order processing speed. Customers should not have to wait this long for essential replacement filters. The product itself deserves 5 stars, but the shipping experience is a 1 star. I truly hope APEC improves logistics because their system is excellent — but reliable and timely delivery is just as important."
