"After my son bought the large output reverse osmosis system from APEC he couldn’t stop talking about how much more water volume he had then when he was using another commercial system. I decided to to buy the upgrade package for my three-year-old Apex system. So glad I did! The increase in water volume is substantial. Just know that when yoU install the 3/8 inch line you have to push it into the fittings hard and get a double click for the line to seal. This is a great product that I have encouraged all my family to get."

"I was amazed at the increased water flow from this kit. As usual very easy to hook up plus it gave me a chance to drain my tank and recharge. I did have to get a 10 foot hose and a T fitting to split off for my refrigerator. If I would have looked at the kit a little better before ordering I could have put them all together. Anyways very nice kit. I had decent water pressure before but now it's off the chart."

"This kit changes system output to 3/8 O.D. tubing which increases flow to and from storage tanks. I used 1/4 PEX which has 3/8 O.D. to run water to a distant sink and refrigerator on the floor above and I have plenty of pressure and flow.Very happy with the kit. Should probably be standard?"

Almost everything I needed
"I have a long run to the kitchen faucet as I installed the system in my basement close to a laundry sink that could handle the discharge flow. I also bought the larger tank TANK-14 to help with my occasional high demand days. I was specifically concerned about the shut off valve fitting the larger connection on top of this tank. The small er tank that come with the RO-90 kit (TANK-4) has a 3/8 MPT connection - but TANK-14 has a 3/4 MPT connection. I specifically asked customer support about this concern and was assured that the valve that came with this 3/8 output kit would fit TANK-14. It does not. Fortunately I have the plumbing skills to make the necessary additions."
